Best Live Action movie: Iron Man 2
Best Animated Movie: Hold on, I don't know if I saw any that came out this year
Best TV season: Current season of How I Met Your Mother
Game of the Year. The only new games that work for me are TTG games, so I have to say Sam and Max: The Devils Playhouse
Best PC Game: (I seriously got no new games for my consoles this year.) The Devils Playhouse, what else.

Okay, yeah. I definitely haven't seen any animated films from this year. Which sucks.

Also, seriously Iron Man 2. You know what I have to compare it to? Deathly Hollow part 1 and Tron Legacy. None of them were by any means bad movies, but out of all of the I liked Iron Man 2 the best

Absolutely. Last season was pretty bad, but this season is fantastic.

Michael's idiocy is just getting terrible now, like in the Halloween one when he was a total douche to Darrell by dressing up as him.

Best Live-Action Movie: Probably the adaptations of Stieg Larson's books, though I also loved watching "The Last Train Home"(made in 2009, but not distributed in the US in my area until recently)
    Best Animated Movie: The Illusionist(easily)
Best TV Show: The Walking Dead
Game of the Year: Super Meat Boy
Best 360 Game: Super Meat Boy
    Best PS3 Game: N/A, don't spend enough time with a PS3.
Best Wii Game: Donkey Kong Country Returns
Best DS Game: N/A, didn't play any this year.
Best PSP Game: N/A, don't own
    Best PC Game: Civilization V

I wanted to make a "Best Book" category, but looking back, most of my favorite books that I read this year were published in 2008 or 2009.

    Best Live Action Movie: Inception
Best Animated Movie: Well... I saw Toy Story 3, but in comparison to WALL-E and Up, it kinda sucked. Not that it's a bad movie, but I hope Pixar will stop making any more Toy Story movies. Now, onto the winner! It's Sintel. It's a free open movie project, so you should totally watch it. Well, it's more of an animated short, but I saw only two animated things this years (both being 3D, yeah). But I liked it very much, more than Toy Story 3.

Best games... dunno. It's something I should think and remember about. I did spend the whole summer slowly playing (and enjoying almost every minute while doing it) Assassin's Creed 2 on PC, but that's technically a 2009 game (even though it was released on PC only in 2010).

Oh, you know, the best film EVENT has to go to Kino's discovery, re-integration, and remastering of the majority of the missing footage from Fritz Lang's Metropolis. The film is QUITE old, but the discovered footage, the renewed score, and the amount of care, respect, and technical mastery that surrounded the remastering was by far what made that the best time I spent in a theater this year.

Why is there a separate section for animated movies?

In many ways, animation is a different medium than live action film. The art of animation, and animating a scene, is different than shooting and acting it. While oftentimes animation IMITATES these techniques, as a whole it is a different art form with entirely separate rules, and from a critical standpoint has a different set of criteria to base the rating on. Besides, it's not "Film" and "animated film", but "Live-action" and "animated" film.

I'm totally changing my Best TV show answer. Tatami Galaxy was better than The Walking Dead, though both are excellent.

I couldn't have said it better myself. (Actually, I probably couldn't have even said it that well, so good job.) :p

Best Live-Action Movie: Scott Pilgrim vs The World (I'm not saying it's better than Inception or Social Network, but I liked it better personally)
Best Animated Movie: Toy Story 3 (Yeah, yeah, I know this is what most people would say, but the movie's emotional content caught me by surprise)
    Best Director: Edgar Wright, naturally.
Best Live Action TV Show: Community season 2
Best Animated TV Show: Tie: Venture Bros. and The Ricky Gervais Show.
Game of the Year: Fallout New Vegas (Despite the bug infestation)
Best PC Game: Also Fallout New Vegas
Best Movie I Was Ready To Hate: Tangled
Best Episode of a TV Show: Community Season 2 Episode 11: Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas
Best Way To Ruin A Movie That I Was Actually Enjoying: The final dance scene in Megamind (Runner-Up: The final dance scene in Gulliver's Travels, which I didn't pick because GT had WAY more problems than just that one scene)
Best Game based on a classic time-travel fiction starring Tom Wilson: Back To The Future: The Game
Best 'Best of 2010' List: Mine (I'm not saying it's better than everyone else's, but I liked it better personally)
