BTTF - directx installation problem

Hi everyone!,
I'm using Windows Vista SP2.
As part of BTTF installation, it had to check and install directx on my computer. But I received an error message saying that I should check dxerror.log and directx.log to find out what's wrong. Well... I don't know how to read this kind of stuff.

Then I searched solutions all around. I downloaded redist Jun 2010, etc, and everytime I try I get the same error message. I updated my ATI radeon HD 3450 card and nothing happened.

When I double click BTTF game, it says that d3dx9_41.dll is missing. I and I know, I'm having a DirectX issues.

I've attached my two logs. Please help me!!!

Please try booting Windows in safe mode and installing the DirectX redist version.

Didn't work . It gives me the same internal error: check dxerror.log and directx.log, which are attached below here.
Please, help me :eek:!

I know this problem sucks, but please, help!!

The logs showed some access denied messages.
Do you have UAC activated?
Did you run the DirectX installer as administrator?

I turned off UAC in order to run redist Jun 2010 and the same error.
Then, with UAC disabled I went to safe mode and tried again. The same error.
Always as Administrator.

I did some more research, and it looks like this could be related to a missing .NET Framework installation.

Make sure you have the latest windows updates installed.
Please also install the latest .NET Framework.

Afterwards try installing DirectX again.
