OnLive as a new outlet for telltale?

edited January 2011 in General Chat
I have been using OnLive for about a month (just got a microconsole) and am enjoying it very much. I like being able to play on TV and then switch over to PC when traveling and take my games with me. I have a good connection (usually around 15/5) and haven't had too many problems with lag/latency or dropped connections.

I would buy a substantial amount of games from telltale so I could take my adventure games when on travel but still play them at home without having to play at my desk. This seems like it would be great for both OnLive users and telltale!

What do you think?

Onlive does seem like a great place for adventure games, since those would be the least hindered by any minor input lag.

True, but they are also hardly the most resource demanding, which is a key selling point of the system.

Yeah but ports are quite easy for OnLive as they use a quite PC like archeticture (from what their buzz has been telling me) It fits nicely into Telltales ethos of being available on as many systems as possible

OnLive's very much something i'd be interested in. But with the main towns just about to cope with handling it bandwidth wise i'd be pissing in the wind trying to get it playing, down the length of yarn I have for a phoneline they've rolled to me out her in the styx :(

Can this be an OnLive thread as well then? :) :p

I wish they'd roll out the low-bandwidth version they've been promising. While I can run all of the games they offer just fine, I'm extremely curious to check it out firsthand. I rather like the idea of spectating single-player games, as well.

The types of games that telltale makes would be perfect for OnLive. I would love to see OnLive carry their catalog.
