Chili powder. (Spoilers?)

All right, with Episode 1 being out for a while it seems the biggest complaint with most people (me included) has been how incredibly easy the episode was. It makes sense why Telltale would do this, of course. The recognizability of the BttF license coupled with a console release (Telltale's been toning down the difficulty since Strong Bad, when I think about it) means lots of people playing the game who don't really know what an adventure game is, let alone played one before.

Anyway, I was thinking back about the first episode. During the alcohol puzzle, if you tell the gangster to add chili powder to the soup, you get a line that goes something like this...(paraphrasing)

"You like it spicy, huh, kid? Me too. Unfortunately, we've got to make sure it's edible for the common types."

The more I think about it, I have to ask: Was this Telltale poking a little fun at themselves for what they had to do? ;)

(Remember what Marty said, though. A little chili powder won't hurt.)

If telltale did, then they have really great writers.

Even if it's not intended, that is how I am going to see it from now on.

Even if that's not what was intended...I'll bet that the writers will claim that brilliant idea originated with them. ;) lol

Never thought of it like that. I hope it was intended, because that's brilliant writing if it was.
