So my version seems to be in a limbo version of this, and I'm trying very hard not to slash my wrists.


Tried to upload a screen shot, but no dice, but here is what it says:

What do i need to do?

    Are you connecting from a public network? Do you have a firewall or other security software that might be blocking the game from accessing the internet?

    I rebooted the computer and started up the bundle, I have the same results.

    Mine does that also. What usually works for me is to, when it gets to the gray screen Right Click and push Stop.
    Then Right Click again and click Reload.
    It takes a few seconds and than it pops right up.

    Maybe that'll work.

    Can I take a look at your DXDiag?

    Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
    Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.

    Now click on the button that says "save all information". It will prompt you to save a file. Since I cannot receive attachments, I'll need you to cut and paste the contents for me.

    There might not be one, but can you check to see if there is an update available to that video card: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/graphics

    We had some issues similar to this with the same family of video cards but there was an intel update that fixed that.

    I just downloaded the update on your link, and I still have the same nonworking results.

    Let's try to give this another shot.

    Locate the exe file.
    Right click on it --> Properties --> compatibility --> check "Run this program as administrator".

    Click ok.
    Try it now, please.
