3D Gaming

edited January 2011 in General Chat
Hello,

I'm thinking of buying a 3d capable laptop. I don't know how the tech works or anything. Anyone here have experience of 3d systems? Can you play non-3d games such as ToMI in 3D? apparently cyberlink allows 2d movies to play in 3d. what is the experience, good, bad, okay? just want to know your lots opinion as telltale forums is clearly the best place to ask such questions :p

thanks,

I'm not trying to put you off to this, but 3D efforts in the television and gaming world have by and large been slow moving, and for a reason. If this is something you're serious about I would put it off at least another year.

i know 3d hasn't been a success hence why i am asking. The thing is i need a new laptop and i was initially considering a lamborghini laptop to get adequate performance and then i saw a 3d laptop. I am not going to get another one for atleast 5 years so it needs to be a good choice. My previous laptop is dead reliable but lacking gaming power so much that probably even a net book may out perform it. My point is, is 3d good. And if it is, can 2d be played 3d. The non 3d version is 300 quid cheaper so if 3d is good enough then i may buy it otherwise i'm going to get the most powerful net book i can find.
