Did Kid Crash? (spoilers)

You know the part when Marty goes on the bike and saves Doc an everything? And when they escape the paddywagon, Kid crashes into some manure? I don't really think he crashed, because he got to a pretty good stopping point before he "hit" the manure. And it dosen't show him actually crashing. State your opinion!
