So, Telltale has mentioned there would be more news AFTER their Feb press conference. So when is this press conference, and when might we hear more updates?

Hail Stan!
Most games press events, this one included, are invitation only. The press is often invited to a venue to see the latest a company has to offer and announce, usually with hands-on time with the game(s) the event is focusing on. Usually the assets that are shown at the event, such as trailers, screenshots, etc. are posted when a press embargo lifts, at which times many games media outlets will post the information from the event. We will also be posting information on our blog about what was shown at the event at that time.
first, where is the press event going to be located on the 17th, and second, who (like what general group of people from what company or whatever... ex. Universal) gets the invites. Please get back to me... Thanks!!!!
Haha nice try!
spoiler alert
Yeah, this!
I'd hope it to be Friday, but something tells me it'll be sometime next week.
Apparently,Tyrannosaur, the mod at JP Legacy has been invited out to the event, so I'd keep an eye on that site for updates as well...
How short, like "we'll know it all this weekend" short?
Either way, looking forward to both the JP news and the five mystery projects.
For easy reference, I've collated some of the more interesting JP-centric articles and previews following the Telltale Press Event that can be found strewn across the forum and google news:

OPINION: I think everything is looking great (except for that questionable TREX roar ), the inclusions of Mr. DNA, motion cap, and confirmation of John Williams music is more than I could have hoped for. The environments and dinosaurs look particularly great. Bravo...
And I am SOOO totally going to watch every single way you can die in this game. lol!
Not saying anything about the chances of that either way, but games are often demoed on a PC but with a controller due to how hard it is to setup keyboard and mouse demo stations.
Well, would TT account for that by having the on screen prompts match whatever controls you're using, whether it be mouse/keyboard or 360 controller?
Yeah, pretty much every PC game does this now-a-days. If you have a 360 controller plugged in you get 360 button prompts and UI, if you don't you get keyboard and mouse prompts and UI.
