TOMI "Telltale Games has encountered a problem and needs to close"

Bought and downloaded this last night and it wont run - I get the "encountered a problem" error message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it - no difference. I have done a clean boot, to no avail. I attach my dxdiag zip file. I'd appreciate some help. Never had problems with downloaded software on this PC before; it's a pretty standard set-up. I see from other posts that this is not a unique problem.

    Looks like the zip file is corrupted so I'll try again
