Disney/Pixar?

edited February 2011 in General Chat
I've been thinking that it would be cool if Telltale would get the licenses for some Disney/Pixar films. I think you could make a great adventure game with the characters from Toy Story, for one. And Aladdin also would be fun. Maybe Nightmare Before Christmas too. I mean, it would be a good idea for all parties. Telltale has proved that they're good with established and well-known licenses like CSI, Back To The Future, and Wallace and Gromit, as well as slightly more obscure licenses like Sam & Max, Homestar Runner, and Bone. And the Homestar Runner, Bone, and Back To The Future licenses show that they're good with slightly more family-friendly products, which is one thing Disney would probably be concerned about. And the opportunity to work with licenses as high-profile as Disney would be great for Telltale for obvious reasons.

Oh, also Disney owns the Muppets now, and I think it would be cool if Telltale did a Muppet game.

I assume by Disney/Pixar he meant Disney and/or Pixar, rather than the name Disney/Pixar that's used now to refer to the Pixar studio under Disney ownership. That being said, I'm a big fan of both studios, and I'd love to see Telltale take on any of their properties. :D

Since Steve Purcell, the creator of Sam and Max, works for Pixar, you can say Telltale already has a "man on the inside." Maybe he could arrange something. :p

They are family friendly but have constitently held the young adult- adult audience for a long time now.

If they make Finding Nemo the game I don't think it would do much good for them.

The Incredibles, maybe...but, I don't think there's a lot for them to do here. The dont usually pick franchises that have games being made left and right mainstream. Even monkey island was a rested franchise before they revived it.

Yeah I think I'm the youngest one here, and I'm 14! Then again...

But still seeing Telltale make a Disney?Pixar title would be cool. Though it probaly would be...
    STUPID easy.

Toy Story, Monsters Inc and Ratatouille would work best as adventure games imho, not that I think it's ever going to happen.
