Car Insurance
Hey there - I'm coming up to a years of accident free driving so my insurance is going to go down, Being an 18 year old male I want the fastest thing going but because car insurance in the UK SUCKS, It breaks the bank trying to get insured on the slowest thing on the road (Right now I have some crappy 1 litre corsa that puts out a mind blowing 50bhp  )
For a years no claims I can get something with a bit more kick to it, but it's still damned expensive  I'm paying £190 a MONTH for my car insurance now, and it's group 1 insurance which is pretty much the lowest costing insurance possible.
So it brings us to this discussion, how much are you paying for your car insurance? Are you happy with it? Am I right in hearing car insurance in the USA is a lot better and a 19 year old can get a reasonable quote on something like a Honda S2000? (Met someone online through youtube who managed this)

If you have the all inclusive licence you're free to go, beside of maybe feeling robbed by the fees.
If you have a smaller budgeted licence, they remove the stuff which makes most sense to you first, some of the more weird stuff remains beside of the basics, and if something happens which is still written in there, they will find creative ways for reinterpretation. You will for instance learn that a glass damage doesn't automatically mean that you will get something payed if glass got broken (this won't be a chemical discussion). Now if there is no way out for them, they often punish you in a way that it's cheaper paying things by yourself and sparing their service.
In a few cases they also do what they're supposed to do.
So they don't try to kill you at first sight but they aren't your best friends as well.
