A perfect fit for Telltale?

I think Telltale should bring back the Discworld series of games. They had the same ingredients that a lot of TTGs licensed properties do.

Point and Click- check
animated style- check
absurd self-referential humor- check
rabid fan-base that will gripe to no end in you get something wrong- check

If you haven't played these games I highly recommend them (as well as the book series they're based on). One last thing, it would be great if they also managed to get the original voice of Rincewind (the main character in the games) Eric Idle.:D

Others have already suggested this, more than once (but I'm only linking to one thread).

I'm not certain it's necessary, the original three games were pretty good.

Tell you what, Terry Pratchett is coming to Nullus Anxietas 3 - The Australian Discworld Convention in early April, and if I get a chance (and if I remember), I'll ask if he's open to more computer games being made based on his books.

If he's agreeable, then I'm sure we could see if Telltale want to do it, and if they'll consider it for future games.

I'd love to see Discworld 1 and 2 get Special Editions, and Discworld Noir get completely re-done in proper 3D.

I don't think I'd like TellTale to do them though, if BTTF is meant to represent the style their aiming for now, then Discworld is WAY too hard for the audience, and at the same time, Discworld wouldn't suit an episodic format as it's more of a huge grand adventure, plus it really was one of those games that needed the multiple click options, TellTale's Single Click Does All would just seem out of place for these games.
