Sam & Max Ep 3 Crash -- Whack Da Ratz

The game seems to consistently crash to desktop (er, I suppose, crash to GameTap) when I try to play Whack Da Ratz. I put the token in, hear the rules described, but right after Max's comment ("How can we not?") the game freezes for a few seconds, then quits.

I am running Vista (I know!)
