what does d3dx9_41.dll mean?

just bought the 1st episode of bttf and the bloody thing won't work. i keep getting a message saying " programme won't start because d3dx9_41.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix the problem". i've tried to reinstall it but to no avail. any help would be appreciated.

Try running it as Administrator.

Try running the DirectX updater... Usually fixes all my D3D problems. Just download it and run it and it "should" fix all D3D related errors.

When asked about downloading DIRECTX components during installation, just say YES or check mark on it... whatever the case is (which I forgot).
