Favorite Sierra sieries

edited March 2011 in General Chat
With TTG now making a new King's Quest, I was interested to know how everyone would rank Sierra's adventure game series'. Personally, I like Space Quest the most, although I'm also a big fan of King's Quest.

Since Leisure Suit Larry isn't in the poll, I just voted for Liesure Suit Larry.
(Must be his brother or something.)

Typo, but I can't edit poll's so we all just have to live with it :).

Gabriel Knight with Police Quest a close second.

    Space Quest all the way.

Since they didn't spell Leisure Suit Larry right, Gabriel Knight.

I really don't know whether to choose King's Quest of Quest for Glory. A multiple option poll would have been easier.
If someone else has the same issue, tell this here and we will share the votes :-)

Leisure Suit Larry, but Police Quest is second only because it has fewer games, plus the quality is more consistant in LSL.

Wait... No Phantasmagoria? Okay. King's Quest then.

I've actually never played any Sierra games - I have played some of the old adventure games but never Sierra. Which would anyone recommend for someone who wants to try them out?

I like the Kings Quest series.

But Larry 7 is probably my favorite Sierra game.

I LOVED the first laura bow game, it had a definite "and then there were none" vibe to it... couldn't get into the second tho, I can't quite remember why I couldn't but I just didn't like it...

I actually voted for quest for glory tho... it's just an amazing series from beginning to end...

Overall pretty hard to say, each series definitely had their duds. I noticed, though the poll doesn't include the "Conquests" series. Conquests of the Longbow was one of my favorites.

Gabriel Knight for me... I love most of their series but there's just something about Janes writing that I really love.

    Space Quest is second.

Whether it was made by Sierra or not, it's not exactly an adventure game.

Police Quest 1 + 2 were great! back in 1992 I wrote a 'paper letter' to Sierra UK to ask them how to complete the Bomb Puzzle .. back before the days of internet .. 3 was a bit naff hated the graphics and driving, still to play 4.

Leisure Suit Larry was sexy funny cheeky (epecially since I was 12) and it taught me the importance of wearing condoms, if you have sex without one you die 30 mins later ;)

Kings quest was good I hope that TT actually reuse alot of the orginal 'grimm' fairytale parts and not try to turn it into some sort of naff legend of kryanda story.

Ive still to play 4 of the SpaceQuest games they were ok, alot of deaths though.

Quest for glory is 'Hero Quest' I think but I never played them and Ive never heard of the others listed
