Woah, don't scare me like that. Judging by the thread title, I was under the impression you had fainted due to dehydration.

I'm disappointed on a high level, although there are some great songs, overall it's just not as brilliant as i was hoping for. What's left is a little bit short for the usual full blown radiohead experience you're used to from so many albums. Less York, more band would have been nice as well or York with more variation. Songs like Bloom or Give up the Ghost get on my nerves, whilst songs like Feral, Little by Little or Codex are great again, god i want more of the bass in Feral.

Dunno i got the impression that they, maybe by intention, because it often seems so obvious to me, left out doing what would let a song explode into a much more intensive and brilliant experience, it's like stopping shortly before you get the mind orgasm. So far i like it but i won't go crazy like with the albums before. On the other side you also shouldn't judge a radiohead album too soon as their songs can really grow on you.

I used to love radiohead, but I've stopped listening as of recent :(

Well, without a doubt there are some great songs but it often never gets as emotional and great as it could to be, everything is very much under control, keeps a certain distance and sometimes almost appears artificial, like music for dancing robots, kind of reminds me of certain Kraftwerk songs.

"I might be wrong" can get quite emotional for me

I need to listen to it on good headphones. I only had a chance with the iPod earphones so far, tweaked a little bit by Hijack. Anyway i love Feral, i could listen to it over and over again, brilliant but also there is this distance.

Yeah, I might be wrong is great, warm and emotional.

There is a lot of talking that it coud be a double or even triple CD.

In my case, Radiohead records get better with time. First time i listen Kid A and Amnesiac i thought they were just ok, not big deal. Now they rank among my favourites.
