Recommend me adventure games

Hey one and all, I see a lot of you are quite familiar with many adventure games, I used to play hugo house of horrors on a CD with my first computer, it was called 1001 amazing games or something and had lots of DOS games packed onto it.

I loved the retro style adventure games "THROW BABY" and stuff, and was wondering if anyone can reccomend more? THANKYE!

    Which adventure games have you played already?

    Are you asking for recommendations of the classics (ie. LucasArts/Sierra titles), other indie titles or freeware fan-made games? I ask because you refer to Peasants Quest and it's freeware.

    Yeah peasents quest is a free adventure game so there is a start.
    Then there is Machianarium which is very clever.

    I think you'd be best off going to the thread I started not long ago where there are three pages worth of underrated classics.
