Have to admit, as a Brit, I never found Simon Pegg or his sidekick Nick Frost funny in their movies. Didn't see what the fuss about Shawn of the Dead was either.

However maybe 'Paul' will razzle and dazzle me.

Hot Fuzz is way better than Shaun of the Dead. If you're going to see any film of theirs I'd go with Hot Fuzz any day of the week!

Even though I liked the films I never found them as funny as Spaced. Also am I the only one who suspects a film to be shit when you hear that it's Brittish writers with an American production. And that the studio will interfeer trying to target a demographic the original script was never aimed at.

I agree that Hot Fuzz was better than Shaun of the Dead. But I liked them both. So I'm sure I'll like Paul.

I like Shaun of the Dead but I think Hot Fuzz is worlds better, which is more an insight on how much I love Hot Fuzz, rather than an abasement of SotD.

Spaced was good, liked the army guy alot lol. Hot fuzz was ok, got a bit stupid near the end, but I just don't find those blokes funny at all. I tried to, but there was just...nothing there for me.

You're not alone even if we're in the minority. I'll probably watch Paul when it comes to TV but I'm not going to pay for it as previous experience (and a few reviews) tells me that I'm not going to enjoy it.
