Payment Options

I placed an order just a few minutes ago for Sam and Max season 1, but I'm not sure how the method of payment I used works.

There were two options, paypal and a wire transfer. I entered in my credit card number and selected wire transfer since I don't have a paypal account.

How does this wire process work? I thought by now I would see the amount electronically debited from my account, but I haven't, and I haven't received any confirmation e-mails.

Did I do something wrong or select the wrong payment option? I looked all through support, but I didn't see anything about this.

Thanks for your help!

Wire transfer and credit card are two different things. A wire transfer requires you to have your bank wire money to the recipient, which means your order is on hold until you do so. Your credit card number didn't get received because you switched the payment type to wire transfer, so you should just be able to order again with credit card and all will be well.

Awesome, thanks for the help and clarification.

When I went back to the payment page, I finally saw the radio button for the credit card option. I don't know how the hell I missed it.

From what it looks like, the wire order should just cancel itself out over time, so I'm all set.

    Thanks again!

Yeah. You may get some reminder emails, but you can ignore them. Alternatively, PM me your order number and I'll cancel it now so you don't get any of those reminders.

Is this wire thingy only for online-banking or can I as well walk to my bank and fill-in the sheet to transfer money, because neither do I have a credit card nor a Paypal-account and additionally, I got a phobia of online-banking.... And I don't want to wait for the friggin' season to come out as a retail version in August!!

I would assume you could set one up in person. I've never personally sent a wire transfer before, but I don't see why you couldn't.
