Log in screen locks up

Ok I've downloaded the free version of BTTF episode 1 and when I launch the log in screen it loads after a few seconds. Whenever I click on any of the text boxes (Username/Password) the screen locks up solid. Have to use task manager to close it.

I've tried the run as administrator as well as ctrl shift -/+ suggestions and no luck. It just locks solid. I have also tried disabling the firewall and going offline. Offline gives me a different log in screen saying I need to activate a serial number but again, if I click on any boxes it locks.

Any suggestions? Specs below:

Q6600 2.4 Ghz
GeForce 560 TI SOC
4 Gig ram
Windows 7 64

    I was having the same issue on XP SP 3, and I finally figured it out last night; it was happening because I had multiple network adapters installed, and BTTF was trying to use the wrong one. Try opening up the Device Manager and uninstalling all network adapters except the one that should be used.
