Back to the Future crash help?

When I was trying out back to the future for the first time, the game crashed when I reached the cutsene where marty and einstein go back in time with the Delorean. How do I solve this?

    First go to

    Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer -> (Left Side) select Windows Logs -> Application.

    There you can hopefully find what causes the crash (Faulting module name)

    Okay, so after you find the problem, how do you fix it?

    Well for example if the faulting module would be "Quicktime" . Then a reinstall or update of quicktime might help.

    It depends on what the faulting module is. And if the faulting module is back to the future itself then it might be a more difficult problem.

    I also heard in some cases that disabling shadows in the game might fix some crashes.
