Hector episode 1 - on mac - can't get past loading screen

Just bought Hector episode 1 for mac. Downloaded and transferred the game to my applications-folder with no problems. But when I try to start the game, it opens a loading screen entitled "back to the future - the game", and the window reads "loading..." in the top left corner - but nothing happens.

Any ideas?

    Try the following on the launcher:

    Press Command/Shift/+ and then Command/Shift/-. Say "yes" to both choices that pop up. That should refresh the launcher and let you log in again.

    Let me know if that works or not.

    Nope - doesn't seem to change anything. I reply "yes" to both deactivation and delete login info - but still the same. Just the loading screen...

    And of course I can't avoid reading about how great this game is. Jeez...
