Well, here I am with a PS3, and I recently bought Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse. Naturally, my PSN ID is YoshiAngemon.

Awesome sauce. I highly recommend you rent/buy Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, LittleBigPlanet, inFamous and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time.

Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time.

Tools of Destruction was much better in my opinion. Plus ACiT was the sequel...you never start with the sequel.

In addition to the previously mentioned titles in this thread, I'd like to add Resistance and God of War recommendations. :)

You should let me borrow it long enough to play Metal Gear Solid 4 and Heavy Rain.

... Also you should probably buy and then let me borrow Metal Gear Solid 4 and Heavy Rain.

Out of those four games, I have LittleBigPlanet. It was a freebie, courtesy of the PSN. Of course, I also have 3D Dot Game Heroes, Final Fantasy XIII, Katamari Forever, and Sports Champions (it came with the system), as well as Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

    God of War

    This. This so many times.

My PS3 is severely underplayed. Heavy Rain is the only game I own for it that wasn't a tremendous disappointment, and the only other games I have for it are Katamari Forever, MGS4, Portal 2, and LBP2. I really think MGS4 will get better as it goes on, but I played for like 4 hours and it erased my progress.

does the OP have/had a 360? I mean we're all just mentioning PS3 exclusives...just kind of assuming on our part.

Also play demons souls before they drop the servers. If your'e into action RPGS, its dirt cheap now. Sounds lilke you've got a lot to get on with, reminds me to get back on 3D.game heroes,i got stuck and spent more time creating nintendo characters

Huge mistake for you to have a PS3 and not have played Infamous, especially if you're eligible for it now that it's free. On other forums people are saying "wtf, how did I not play this earlier?"

I got one as well, then the PSN got taken down *face palm* But whatever, I enjoy it, I do need to get Heavy Rain and Uncharted sometime though.

    Well, here I am with a PS3

Why would you buy a 5+ year old outdated piece of hardware?

because it works, it's relatively inexpensive and there's now a giant library of games? It's people who buy brand new I don't get. Pay out the rectum, everything is buggy(PS3,360 & Wii all had initial release issues) and there's no games.

I think I bought mine at the perfect time, I grabbed my 80 gig right after they dropped the backwards compatibility, and before they made the slim... from what I've heard the ones before that were buggy, and the ones after are somewhat buggy as well... I've never had problems with it^_^

then again I've always had phenominal luck with consoles, My launch ps2 still works perfectly, and I actually dumped water all over my gamecube without any issues(though those things were indestructable) xDD

did they? I've had my Wii almost 4 years and never had an issue with it. Except for the time one my cats ate thru the sensor bar wire... (groans)

I have a PS3 as well :). I'd recommend both Uncharted games, MGS4 and both Infamous games. I'm playing the Tomb Raider Trilogy right now, which is great if you haven't played those three yet. Also, the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus collection is due out in October.

I have had a 360, Wii, and PS3 since a few months after each of their respective launches, and have had 0 problems with any of them whatsoever.

360 was the worst. Systems were crashing left and right. PS3 had problems with and caused by backwards compatibility(which is why it's long gone). Wii was more of a company issue...they were shipping out demo models, incomplete models, models without software amongst their systems at first.

If you don't have them already, I'd recommend getting the PS1 final fantasy games of PSN.

My personal favourite is 9, but other people swear by 8 and 7, (which I haven't played through properly).

6 is great as well, but I'd get a portable version of it, if you get the chance to.
(Though if you have a PSP, the PSN version has the advantage of being able to play it on both! :D)
