BTTF exe stopped working?

Again, i'm sure this has been said elsewhere, but i don't really have the energy to drag myself through all these forums for the odd chance it's there. But if it is, please forgive and redirect me :)
tis just i was happily playing the bttf games, got halfway through episode 3 when i decide to come off. next time i come round to playing it i click play from the episode menu but am then hit with a giant 'BackToTheFuture103.exe has stopped working' error sign.
i try all the others and they all say do the same. nothing had changed with my OS since i played last and i'm wondering if this is a common problem and how to fix it? thanks all :)

    I'm getting the same thing! none of the exe's are working for me. nothing has changed on my computer except a restart.:confused:

    Flawless02 care to elaborate a little? must we download and install them again or what? pleeeeeaaaaaase?

    so now the games are working again but all my saved games and preferences are gone :( what the hell?

    Try right-clicking your save folder, then "Restore Previous Version".
