If it's not too much to ask, it'd be nice if everyone forwarded me back their PM so I can be sure there are no errors. I accidentally unticked the 'save a copy' feature.
It probably just means that they aren't sending emails so no one will recieve the gift. However, if the person is already on your friends list it just pops up in Steam with no email assuming you are online. So you can either wait or everyone can add everyone to maintain the secrecy. You can always resend the gift, though, so if you are all patient it should be fine.

.... but if the person *isn't* in your Friends list, you'd need to invite them to be your friend and then reissue the gift to them using the function under the "Games" drop-down menu once they've OK'd it.
Just to be on the safe side, I will NOT play Hitman tonight. I usually get emotional over the atmosphere in games and it would be a shame to shoot my target instead of buying him/her a game.
I'm glad to see it's been a mild success so far! Although, it'd be nice to know what games people got :P.
OK, I got Unreal Gold and Broken Sword 3. The 3rd Broken sword completes the collection and as a bonus, i've never played it before, and I used to have Unreal a long time ago, so I'm looking forward to my very long overdue replay. It'll be a blast from the past.
First of all, I got a huge surprise. I made a wishlist for this Secret Santa thingie... and then saw a contest on steam (you can win all your wishlist games IF the wishlist has minimum 10 games). So I started searching for games, I am extremely picky.
Found some that I liked, Big Brain Wolf and Broken Sword: Director's Cut. Suddenly, two best friends gifted those to me. That was soooo nice!! I'm not very used to getting gifts like that.
Then I had to make the wishlist again, so I put some stuff there... and then I noticed some stuff on Steam ...a sale on Bioshock and...Garry's Mod...and...argh! Couldn't resist. Bought some more games (incredibly cheap... some were 85% off O.O)
Had to make list AGAIN, hahaha! Otherwise I can't win Steam's contest. So I started browsing and saw a game which I love due to it's brilliant-ness and it's awesome-ness...and the freedom it gives you and the fun you have with it! I saw it at friends, I saw it at colleagues...
Long story short, I added that game to the top of my list, just to remind myself that I should get it one day.
And Matt bought it for me GTA IV.
It was in the price range we settled on, but way too expensive for me. So... once more, Thank youuuuu!!
Right, gift sent. Hopefully... (had a few problems with Steam being so busy but I can resend it if it looks like it hasn't gone through)
If you go to Games > Manage Gifts and Guest Passes on the Steam drop-down menu, it should tell you what's happening with gifts and whether your friend has Redeemed the gift or not (which they won't do if anybody tries sending it by email, as I discovered yesterday!)

If you want, you can send me a gift and you don't even need to recieve anything!
I really didn't expect this and.. and... thank you!!
* big summer hug * !!
*Hugs back*
Thanks again!
P.S.
I'm pleased you decided NOT to shoot me.
Daww, my pleasure. Glad you enjoy it!
* returns summer hug *!
And now I wait patiently for mine.
Thanks so much for Fallout: New Vegas!

Too late, unless a number of other people express interest in doing a second round.

EDIT: Never mind.
Thank's, Biggins for Fallout 2 and Plants vs Zombies!
Lucidity! Thanks
And thanks for confirming for me that my gifting didn't exactly go to plan...
Poor Issac. He always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I will un-stick this thread in 2 days.

Well, the people have until the 10th. If someone hasn't posted saying they recieved a gift, I'll contact their gifter on the Ninthish.
