black screen during trial

I just downloaded Al Emmo to my desk top. After done installing clicked on game iocn on desktop all i get is sound and a black screen (no curser even shows up). Any ideas why? Already used 15 minutes on trial that I have never been able to see. Please help

    Maybe your computer doesn't like the resolution the game is switching to?

    You might want to try downloading the other demo for this game, which is self-contained and doesn't have a time limit, and see if it has the same problem. You can get it here: http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,647
