The Walking Dead Season 2 trailer

edited November 2011 in The Walking Dead
Don't know what the etiquette here is regarding threads on the AMC series, but anyone see the trailer they premiered at Comic-Con? Pretty good stuff:

I cannot be the only one that read the title and thought "They are announcing a season 2 of the game already?"

Holding off watching that trailer until I've finished watching season 1, which I've just started today with the first two episodes. I'm liking what I've seen so far, though it's still a little weird hearing Andrew Lincoln talking in an American accent. Going to pick up the first compendium as well, when I have some spare cash.

I thought that too. My luck for reading through all those Sam & Max Season 4 and BTTF Season 2 speculation threads...

    Such an awesome trailer.

Living in Atlanta during the filming of the first season was interesting. Once and a while traffic would get stopped near where I lived so they could film a zombie chase scene or something. I would get back to work 20 minutes late from lunch, able to blame it on the zombies. :p

haha. Were you able to spectate whilst filming was going on? How close to the set are the general public allowed to get?

Pretty close, although they were shooting pretty tight scenes at what the "CDC". I don't know how close I'd get to be if they were doing any wide crane shots, but it was pretty cool anyway! I have a few friends that are semi-professional zombie extras in the first season. They were in Zombieland too. In fact, my friend Chris is in the opening sequence of Zombieland, the super slow-mo intro (he's the short skinny guy in black leather and boots chasing a girl dropping a milkshake...I think).

No this was back when I lived in Atlanta, before I joined Telltale!

WOW that is pretty cool. Did you ever consider applying to be a zombie extra yourself? Do you need any qualifications to be a zombie extra?

Haha, I think I considered it, but I never heard about tryouts until after people had been selected. My zombie-experienced friends would have me believe it takes an impressive zombie resume to be a professional zombie. I guess it was sort of an exclusive zombie club (let's see how many times I can stuff the word zombie into this post!).

Although I think my pre-tea/caffeine zombie shuffle is pretty darned convincing!

Aah I love the Walking Dead - every episode is like a film! So epic! I love anything to do with zombies to be honest - zombie movies, zombie series, and zombie games! (die2nite anyone?)
