Sam & Max Season 1 no music.
I don't know what's wrong. But the music of all episodes of Sam & Max Season 1 are not working. I'm playing this for years, and this problem never happened before.

Is it only the Music or all Sound?

Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.

I'm really confused with this problem. This games always worked fine. There are sound effects and voices, but no music. This never happened before, and i'm playing this games for years. Other games don't have this problem now. Only Season 1 of Sam & Max.

Okay, i did some research. This seems to be a rare bug, that was discussed here several years ago.
There is no elegant fix, i think, but there are a few things you can try:
- Make sure that the Music volume is turned up in the game
- Reduce the hardware acceleration level of your sound card, as described here at the bottom. Try to find the highest level that works with the game.
I solved the problem changing the sound configuration. I know what happened. My Windows got f*cked up by one of those registry cleaners programs. These damn things always screw up Windows. Reinstalling the Windows would definitely solve this problem, but i won't do that. Now, when i go play an Sam & Max Season 1 Episode, i will change the sound configuration before starting the game.
