WTF? My brother opens a unopened twix bar and eats it and there's a fcking pill in it!?

Yes a pill, and he takes it out and we look at it and yes, it's a pill and he's puking and his head hurts. It doesn't make any sense.

There's no reason a damn pill should in the candy, ice cream...he was chocking tell me he was poisoned. He has a migraine now. How weird is that, he just wants to blow it off, he said it's done, already happened.

WTF, I can't believe he just blew it off.'

I am dead serious he is on the floor holding his head, wth is a damn pill doing in a closed candy bar!?

I'm not even joking. A pill! WTF a pill! This coming after my car went up in flames and exploded. My mind wonders what the hell was in that pill? What's it going to do to him? And he just wants to blow it off. WTF!?

He opens it and it's a damn pill! A pill and he almost swallowed it and he's telling me I've been poisoned, help me, help me.. and vomiting, moments later he's just like it didn't happen. FFS!

I know it doesn't make any sense, which makes it all the more sinister and confusing and he just brushes it off. It shouldn't be possible, yet he just says that it happens...

Once again, call emergency on your own and seek medical help for your brother, then come talk to us later about what happened and about your car.

If you're worried about what it'll cost you, I'm pretty sure you can get some sort of compensation somehow for the fact that a candy company gave him food poisoning. Did he eat the whole bar? If not, save it for evidence.
  • edited September 2011
Yes, he ate the whole bar, where the hell is his common sense, he just keeps saying this sort of thing happens.

The thing is, there is no case there, it's not even FCKING possible, yet it happened. So if he is murdered or dies, guess what, nothing fcking happens in court.

Okay, well... That's interesting of him. Still if you seek medical attention they can check themselves what he ingested.

And i asked him, You're going to eat the rest of it!?

    He said

    I don't like to waste.

My family is mental about the hospital I don't know if you recall when I had injured my spine no one wanted me to see a doctor then the xrays showed after about a 10 weeks had past or something retarded that I herniated a disc in my spine...

My car? It's random, Car in perfect condition, in car, I get out of car, moment later car in perfect condition is up in flames. Fire fighters don't know why they said it was some sort of electrical fire....

No one knows why it burst into flames.

Get hold of a doctor, now. There's no telling what the pill was. It could even have been rat poison.

Also, I remember the firey car thread! That seems lik ages ago now.

He might of thrown the pill away, I don't know. I don't want to touch it, look for it, He might have washed it down the sink. He was choking yelling for help because it burned his fcking insides. He said it was painful, it burned. Acid reflux, not flames, of course...

please call the company and tell them about it. Maybe they know what it is. This might be anything.

It looked like a green/ blue pill. I don't know what it was, and I don't want to get into it with a company over something like this. Because it sets me up to fail and make allegations that I can't win.

It's a automated process, and if some one wanted to take this to court with me, I'd say no, there is nothing I can say or do that validates this is even possible and it's a pointless case.

    What would I ask them?

    Like this?

Whether or not you can prove there was a pill in the twix or not is irrelevant, if you have any reason to believe it could be poison, he needs medical help now. Before his heart fails.

Heck, even if it's not, he needs medical aid, just in case he's having a severe allergic reaction to it, or ingested it in higher quantities than is recommended.

As for the laywer'y thing, go no-win no fee, and don't throw out the trash. When he's better, you can have a look for the wrapper as there might be traces of the thing still there.

I'm sure the hospitals have tests they can run to identify the substance if they know roughly what it is.

Seriously, when I read something like this it pisses me off big-time. Get your brother medical attention and demand compensation instead of sitting here complaining about it. And your defeatist attitude is getting on my nerves.

    Lawsuit. Now.

What defeatist attitude? Not trying to force him out the door, cram him into a car, and drag him into the ER...

He's stubborn and grown and that's not likely going to happen.

I know it's stupid, stupid shit happens to me. If it happened to me I probably wouldn't even go as my family is brain washed like that.

It doesn't make sense, and of all the things I can just call paranormal, this isn't and it doesn't make much sense to me how this would happen , or what it was. Friar it may have been similar to your example, but I don't want to worry myself.

    Fck...

The worse part if it were to make him sick is that his girlfriend whom he just visited has the flu, but he WAS NOT sick and is not vomiting now, he only vomited up the pill as it burn inside him. And he was yelling help me I'm poisoned and coughed the thing up. So if he does get sick or worse, it can be blamed on complications from the flu.

Not to get paranoid with this, but seriously, who the fck put a pill in there?

I can't convince him to do anything he just swears, slams his down shut and locks it, that's the kind of guy he is.

Well, as much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, rat poison can be very serious. It can cause irreparable heart damage, if not treated. Explain that to your brother, and see if he realizes how serious the situation potentially is.

You could give poison control a ring and explain his symptons. "Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222." On no accounts try and make him puke it up before calling them or a qualified doctor. Doing so can be hazardous with certain types.

Have you made your brother throw up? His LIFE may depend on it goddammit.

Maybe you're right, I don't even know what he did with it, but it looked like a pill,he called it one after he threw it up. Or spit it out. I guess it could be anything, it looked like a pill.

Maybe it wasn't. Strange never the less.

He threw up moments, SECONDS after digesting it.

I don't believe it , how he finished his twix ice cream bar, that is some craziness there.
I'm hoping everything works out fine. I'll check up on him.

    Doodo, would you stop arguing?

"We have this thing about hospitals" indeed. -.-

He needs medical attention. Don't you care about that?

Seriously. It's been hours since you posted this, so if you reply and say you never called the doctor, took him to a hospital and/or you threw the Twix wrapper away, then I don't think I believe you.

No one would put a mistrust of hospitals over the potential death by poisoning of a loved one. No one with any amount of sense.

Seriously, if you haven't taken action by now I think you may have been lying. I'm not joking.

...and anyway, why would he eat the pill? It's one thing to eat the candy bar that has come in contact with it (though foolish), but it's another to have eaten a noticeably visible unmarked pill that was not hiding from view in any way.

fictitious example: "Oh no, my nephew drank a Sprite, but the bottle was partially filled with bleach. I hate hospitals so I can't take him to a doctor, though I know he could very quickly die."

    ...Ridiculous.

Edit: the more I think about this, the more ludicrous it seems. Why on earth would you ask us for help?? There's no guarantee you'd get a quick enough response to your OP. No one here (I think) is close enough irl for you to expect someone from here to come and help you there in a timely manner. Why would you be wasting your time on the computer to post here when your brother may be dying? It makes no sense.

I don't lie, when I talk crazy I actually believe in alot of what I say, if not most of it.

I do lie on occasion, likely, probably about college nonsense, but I try not to lie.

I don't know what to tell you, you may know I have a back injury , no one took seriously and I'm still struggling with that today. I called my sister about this and she told me , "so what? I find things in closed cereal all the time...what's the big deal...
Yeah, it's kind of strange, but if he's ok, who cares?"

He's a grown man, if he wanted to go to the hospital, I offered, I can't force him. I can't force any one to do anything. I'm not a dictator and I don't use physical force often, and when I do I feel ashamed. I try to focus on people taking initiative and if I can't do that I can't convince them to physically and mentally do anything.

I'm not god and I don't have power over the mind to the extent of planting ideas in others minds. I'm not skilled there...

I'm not trying to argue, my side of this is if I ask him to go or try to force him, he's liable to punch me in the face or close his door and say *BEEP* off...

Maybe you're used to dealing with more civil people, I don't know. He's a good person, but I can't just convince him to do anything I want to, even if it makes all the sense in the world. I can't use physical force, I'm even injured so I can't get physical. And I'm not ready to call a ambulance, because maybe he some how staged it or lied to me. Even though I don't know why he would have.

He does seem fine. If it were my child I'd go to a hospital . But it's not my child, it's my grown brother . People are crazy, vain, stupid, he's a smart guy, but I cant convince him to do anything. You can't convince most people to do anything and he's stubborn.

I'm not making it up...if I were trolling I wouldn't dare make an entire thread for a troll topic, I don't think it would last very long and this is the truth.

He's been known to toy with people and get them excited and real just for fun, so he may have done it just to get a reaction. But, from what I saw it was legit.

I wasn't asking for help, I was sharing...
He throws up, I react, and he sits down and I type the first paragraph he goes away and we go from there...he seems fine. I share things, like my car blowing up.

this feels to me like a... a test of some sort. Doodo is philosophical and stuff about the nature of humanity, so he has it in his mind to create some fictitious potentially deadly circumstance and to post about it on here to see how we react, so as to judge our responses.

Yes you can. You can call 911. You can call poison control. You can call your family doctor. You can call someone with sufficient medical knowledge that can help make sure he's not going to die.

If you called 911, they would send an ambulance, and you can bet that the EMTs would be adamant about him seeking medical help.

    Seriously, I don't think I believe you.

No, I'm human, defective. Maybe I have something to learn from you guys. Maybe you're testing me, all knowledge, information passes through words or objects, meanings, interpretations, significance. It's natural, even if you don't entirely will for it, some choice you make, some observation leads you there. Yes, I am philosophical and maybe this thread was posted because it was a interesting situation I found myself in. Granted that, maybe as I am already defined as this character I am intuitively and subliminally if you would, drawn to post this topic because of it's philosophical questions you point out to me.

Part of the equation is that you're drawn to these subjects as you've kindly and appreciatively have posted in my other threads. Thank you, it's very nice of you. Even if you don't will for it entirely things have a motion through time in my opinion. You create patterns and you create a rhythm.

So maybe this thread were created for that reason, but simply this thread was created because I experienced this or my brother lied to me. Interesting enough even though I posted it for one reason, I really posted it for several reasons tied to that one reason. Or as identified and measured as to exist by others it became the root of many reasons that I posted this thread.

So your reason may become valid, but this was not a philosophical test directly, yet it very well can be in the direct sense.

EDIT:He says it was real, and I know when he is serious. He says

"Not sick, I don't care" and my step father just agrees with him.

He said the item he tasted started to eat was highly acidic.

How could someone be embarrassed about taking migraine medicine?

What you're basically saying is that either your brother (and your stepfather by the sound of it) intentionally tricked you to see how you'd react, or you tricked us to see how we'd react.

It can be difficult to put water in your mouth, tilt your head back, put a pill in your mouth and swallow the water?

Maybe a huge pill or a large multivitamin. Maybe. But not a small capsule/tablet like an Advil or a Tylenol. Those are a piece of cake to swallow.
