Why are game settings per episode?

Each time I play an episode from Telltale, why do I have to go and change game settings to my liking?

The options are mostly the same for each episode in a season, and perhaps even across all Telltale games. Couldn't you store them in Windows Registry under Telltale or something like that?

Every time before clicking New Game, I change screen resolution, turn on subtitles, hint level to my liking etc. I always choose the same options for every single episode. And I've played almost all of your games. It's getting annoying. You should take advantage of being episodic and remembering stuff like that.

What if you buy a new monitor between episodes? Or a new graphics card? Dun dun duuuuun! O.O

Seriously, is it really that bad? :)

Those several seconds add up. If he continues to play all of Telltale's games, it may add up to THREE OR FOUR MINUTES by the time he dies.

Yes, three or four minutes that I'll never get back! Imagine what I could do with them!

You wasted 5 minutes of my life and I want them back! Oh never mind, I'll probably waste them anyway.
