But then the AVGN might review it and make the universe implode

More practically, we've seen how all the real-life pop-culture references were stripped out of the Strong Bad and BTTF games... imagine any AVGN media in which they can't mention real-world video games... it'd be depressing

    There's already an AVGN game.

Direct link, since it's a little hard to track down.

How about this: The Nerd is sucked into the world of crappy video games, and to get out he must defeat a number of old enemies like Bugs Bunny, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Michael Jackson, and maybe even The Nostalgia Critic. And maybe he can even meet good game characters like Mario. All of the episodes would have some sort of setting like in the games he has reviewed, like in Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle.

I already knew there's going to be a movie! I wouldn't have posted this if I didn't know that already!

So you want a video game, based on a movie, based on a reviewer of video games.

I cannot possibly see how that could be bad.

Not based on a movie, originality is what I want.
