This'll be a day one purchase. Say what you want about GTA but the city is always the star of the game and Los Santos looks very much like another amazing concrete jungle to get lost in.

But wait!! If I want a break from the city I can go hiking in the mountains, or hang out with the migrant workers, or have a stroll around suburbs full of foreclosed houses. You don't get this level of detail/social commentary every day.

I always played the GTA games for the car-smashing fun. I tried completing the main story and side missions, but after a while it all boils down to: go there, do that, come back, save game.

I'm looking forward to this new entry! New cars to crash! ^.^

It'll probably come out on PC as well. Did you ever build one for yourself?

Eh... no. I'm really bad at saving money.

I've played all the main GTA games so I'll be picking this one up for sure. I like the city. Much cleaner then the last one. lol

I must admit though. GTA4 was not my favorite. The changes they made to make the game seem more realistic actually made the game a tad bit more boring than the previous ones. The story missions were fun but there wasn't much else to do outside of that. Online wasn't impressive and the in game side stuff like bowling and hanging out with your cousin or friends wasn't really all that fun.

So I'm hoping with this one they give us a bit more to do in this city.

That's probably my favorite one as well. I liked GTA3 and Vice City the best. With GTA:SA coming in 3rd which puts GTA4 dead last.

Gta: san andreas was my favourite, sure it wasnt the most realistic but it was a incredibly detailed game and had a huge map also the myths which still to this day no one knows if they are true add some extra fun.

i actually don't mind that it was unrealistic. That's why I enjoyed the first three more because they weren't trying to go ultra real with their world. I don't want to start a war here. But I'm going to bring in Saints Row 3. I like the way that game is done because it's silly and fun with all the stuff you can do while playing. San Andreas had stuff like that too like the jet pack.

GTA 4 may a more realistic world. And that's cool. But I just wish they would have given us more fun stuff to do then just the whole haning out with your cousin at the strip club type of stuff.
