Because the series revolves around social etiquette and manners it'd be quite natural to have ridiculous adventure game style puzzle solutions as opposed to the brute force approach in other genres.
Though there'll never ever be a Seinfeld game
Hah! Whenever I'm playing an adventure game and the character is like "I can't do <action> because <someone will see me / I will get in trouble / I'm not supposed to> it always strains my suspension of disbelief, but you're totally right, that sort of self-doubt and arbitrary limitation would fit in pretty hilariously in the Seinfeld universe.
There were also Tales of Monkey Island and Sam & Max games before TTG came along, but that didn't stop them from releasing ToMI and S&M Seasons 1, 2, and 3.
