I am just naming my favorite. Why don't you?
But you are right. I should have just put "Who is you favorite comic villain?"
I think he meant you should've said "Who is your favorite comic villain besides the Joker?", which in many cases is the same as asking "Who is your second favorite comic villain?"
Because if everyone's favorite is the Joker, you're not going to get much discussion out of this thread.
The greatest villain ever penned is undoubtedly Johann Liebert, of the Monster manga. The embodiment of antichrist and a soulless killer who is the product of societal misguidance, Johann at various points kills his own parents, forces a young boy to watch a prostitute blow a John, goes on a rampage of slaughtering all his former mentors, manipulated 50 people into killing each other, and brings to its knees major world organizations throughout Europe.
The face of pure evil. 2 Corinthians 11:14
Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
-His power is that he can shapeshift into anything
-Has killed children face to face while smiling, without blinking
-Masterminded and started a genocide and did it by killing a child
-Made sure the man he shapeshifted as when killing said child died in disgrace
-Perpetuated fear through an entire country over generations
-Perpetuated legends of an item that could right the wrongs in your life
-He perpetuated these legends to cause as much despair as possible
-Killed a man by shapeshifting into the image of his wife and shooting him
-Framed a perfectly innocent soldier for the murder above
-Has millions of tortured human souls contained without his body
-Happily watched as one of his own brothers was BURNED ALIVE
-Manipulated thousands with a false cult under the guise of a dead priest
-Caused so much strife in said city that the military began a new genocide
-As far as collateral damage, the rape and death and abuse and lives shattered is immeasurable
-In one incarnation, a rape of one main character as collateral damage is examined in detail
-In one incarnation, he greatly desires to kill his father...and does by transforming into a dragon and feasting on his body
-In same incarnation, he also kills his brother by impaling him
-Has no true comrades within his own evil circle
-Is just a complete asshole
-Chooses this form to look cute....think about the hideousness of that

Lex Luthor is a close second! Especialy if hes voiced by Clancy Brown.
Doesn't he also play Mr. Krabs? And the Guard from The Shawshank Redemption?
Yes the man is a god!
