JurassicPark100.exe has stopped working.

Well the game worked fine on the first loadup. Got to the menu and everything. When I went to change the resolution I had to manually go through each resolution to get to mine. Wish there was a drop down for this. Well before I got to the desired resolution the game had crashed and came up with the error JurassicPark100.exe has stopped working.

I've tried reinstalling multiple times, deleting the preference file as suggested, and tried running as administrator too. I haven't tried to re download the game completely however. Computer specs are as follows:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz
8GB DDR3
1TB HDD
Radeon HD 5570
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

It's a CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra GU6002 Gaming PC.

    Can you try right-clicking the game's icon and then clicking Run as Administrator? Let me know if that helps.

    Can you provide me with a DXDiag file, please?

    To send a DXDiag, click the Start menu, click Run, and then type in DXDiag and press enter. After it loads, click Save All Information and save the file where you'll be able to easily find it. Open the file and then press Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+C to copy the contents of the file, and then include that in a reply.

    When you reinstalled it, did you completely uninstall it first?

    Yes I'm fairly sure I did. I know the first time I missed whatever was in my documents. I'm going to retry that and re download the game as well. Make sure there's nothing saved.

    I have exactly the same problem. While manually going through the resolutions my game crashed and I now get that error anytime I try to load the game.

    I've downloaded the game three separate times now. First time I unzipped and ran the installer, started the game, set up preferences and then quit. Out of curiousity I checked the folder properties and saw it was only 500mb. What the heck?

    So I tried to run one of the episode installs directly, and the file failed the verification check. Tried episode 3, files were missing from the install exe. Tried episode 4, files were missing.

    I downloaded the game again, directly to an external drive. Same problem. Installer would run for about 15 seconds - a little short for a 2.5 gb install. All files were either corrupt or failed the "verifying installer" portion of setup.

    I ran chkdsk earlier and came up clean (this is a 3 month old pc, no issues) and virus scans, no results. I'm getting the same results every time I download the install zip. Help!

    Jokerfish, I think your problem is related to bandwidth / server load. Telltale are looking into that, but wouldn't hurt to give it a couple of hours and try again when some of the demand might have died down.

    For me it was firewall. Game refused to load, then set the application as authorized through my firewall. Works like a charm now.

    Well mine isn't refusing to load, mine encounters an error. My firewall is not the problem.

    Same thing happened here. I went to switch resolutions and when one came that wasn't supported by my monitor (which is a 40" Toshiba 1080p LCD TV) the screen went dark and now I can't load the game up to switch resolutions. I can hear the menu in the game but no picture. I tried un-installing the game and re-installing it and it didn't help at all. I went in and manually deleted the Telltale games folder after un-installing it, and when I re-installed the game it must of saved the settings. VERY FRUSTRATING TELLTALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Item 273 on todays glitch list!

    You can delete the prefs.prop file under Documents\Telltale Games\JP to reset the graphics options.

    Yes, deleting the preferences to change the resolution back to default does not stop the .exe error.

    Luffy, I read in another post to open that profs file and just delete everything in it. Worked for me. It loaded up for me in windowed mode and I could change the resolution

    It's odd that deleting the prefs.prop didn't reset your settings.
    In a case like yours you can try pressing Alt-Enter while the display is black. It should switch the game to windowed mode, where you can try to change the settings to what you desire.
