[JP PS3] Massive lag/freezing

Game suffers massive lag/freezing at the following points:

Start of scene (After load screen)
End of scene (Before fade to black
Initiation of dialogue
Action sequences (Rex scene, dilophosorus scene)

    I have the game on my Mac, and the last few times I have paused the game(spacebar), the game freezes my Mac on the Rock screen. Have to turn off and restart. I've never had another problem where I had to restart my Mac. And I lose all my progress.
