[JP] Game crashing at startup

Got this game, instaleed and launched great! When I tried to change the resolution it crashed and it wont let me open again, always crashs at the startup. Is there someway to solve it? Maybe get the configuration files and change it, before launching the game?

Empty out your prefs.prop file:

1. Find the prefs.prop file. It may be under "Documents\Telltale Games\Jurassic Park the Game" if you're using Windows 7. For XP, I believe the file is under "My Documents\Telltale Games\Jurassic Park the Game". You could also just search your install drive, it will be in a Telltale Games folder somewhere.
2. Open it up in notepad and delete everything inside
3. Save and close

Then try starting the game.

Genius. It worked! Why this happened to my game?

Doing that clears out the bad config that was saved when the game crashed. The blank prefs.prop file makes the game start in windowed mode, so you can choose the resolution without it trying to force your monitor into an unsupported resolution.

I have the same problem. I tried all the fixes, posted in this thread, but it still refuses to start. I even fixed the registry with your file. Before that I had a full black screen. Now the window is reduced to 800x600. But still the same error:

"JurassicPark.exe has stopped working"

...I fixed it myself. This post had helped: https://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27731

It did the trick, setting the compatibility options to the lowest resolution possible (640x480). The game started and I was able to set the proper resolution.
