Graphics error when reloading JP

edited November 2011 in Game Support
Hi, I've been able to play JP for the past few days and it worked perfectly (Thank you Telltale). However, when I tried to play today, the launcher came up and asked me to log in (has told me to log in every time I tried to play today). Then I got an error that went:
Could not initialize Direct3D.
Make sure you have current video drivers and
close any other applications that might be running.
You will need a video card that supports at least pixel shader version 1.2.

And then:
Unfortunately, this error could not be recovered.

I haven't changed anything on my computer lately, and the game worked fine yesterday with the internet and Microsoft Word still running. Please help.

Have you tried the first two solutions from the support FAQ?

Also, a dxdiag log could have useful information.

    dxdiag
Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.

Now click on the button that says "save all information".
It will prompt you to save a file. Save it where you can find it.

Open the file and press Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+C to copy the contents, and paste them in a reply by pressing CTRL-V.
Sometimes the Forums spam filter catches long posts like this. Don't worry, we can still see them and make them visible.

Okay, that was odd. Just today it started working again, and I didn't even have to do anything. Thanks for responding, though. And yes, my monitor meets the requirements and is 32-bit.
