On this date in 1998 there was a war between light and dark and when all looked hopeless a brave sacrifice was made and the forces of light hope and goodness prevails thanks to one heroic being who died for us all.

    Don't talk back to your grandpa, sonny! Why, when I was your age, I already had my own money-bringing empire, my own chain of restaurants AND the mayor gave me the city's key!

    ...then I woke up.

    Still, who is Zordon? And don't try to link me to a Wiki-page... I know how you youngsters treat us wise old people these days.

    Not going to lie, I had no clue who he was either... I didn't start watching TV until I was in high school.

    PR is more a gulty pleasure to me then anything else. :p Also it seems Zordon's dimension has no constitutions on age limits to be drafted into a war.

    At least the teenager requirement died eventually. Now they just have to be young adults, but are often teenagers anyway. Because teenagers are better at fighting evil, apparently.

    Well obviously, since the Ginyu Tokusentai are sort of a parody of sentai teams. =P

    Also, the full song is really really fun, and one of the few good things to come out of Kai(one of the others is a dub Freeza voice that is actually really good).

    When I first looked at the picture my mediate thought was Mighty Morphin Midget Gnomes with Oxhorn.

    But after that Power Rangers popped strait to mind. I used to love that show as a kid. :)

    I used to like Power Rangers until its canon got completely demolished into a hundred story threads.

    Here's my question. How the heck did Zordon manage to seal away Rita Repulsa in a space dumpster, yet at the same time Rita managed to trap Zordon in a time warp? It seems like only one of those things should have been able to happen.

    And I also don't see how you could describe Jason, Trini and Billy as teenagers with attitudes. Zach and Kimberly maybe. MAYBE.

    Edit: Also I just watched the Zyuranger opening on YouTube. I can't believe that Saban didn't use footage of and thus sell toys of the motorcycles and big rocky looking Putty Patrollers.

    They both had the same idea of trapping there enemy at the same time I guess?

    Bulk and Skull should have been chosen as they having more attitude then any of the 5 who are all goodie goods.

    So, I've been watching Power Rangers on Netflix because clearly, I have too much time on my hands.

    There's an episode where Squatt teleports into Trini's bedroom at night to steal a doll because Rita wants to turn it into a monster. At one point he's literally standing like two feet from her while she's asleep.

    ....

    Kinda makes me wonder why "sending Goldar to stab them in their sleep" was never an option that Rita or Lord Zedd considered.
