The Humble Introversion Bundle

Epic, award-winning games. Darwinia, Aquaria, and Crayon Physics Deluxe are year-on-year, Seumas McNally Grand Prize winners at the Independent Games Festival, representing the very best in distinctive, engaging gameplay.

Pay what you want. If you bought these games separately it would cost around $70 but we are letting you set the price.

The games work great on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

You can support charity. Choose exactly how your purchase is divided: Between the Introversion developers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, or the Child's Play Charity. Also, if you like this deal, a tip to Humble Bundle would be much appreciated!

Yeah. This is starting to suck. Also: There is no game in there I don't already own.
Has anybody bought it and can report that there are at least some interesting extras? I would re-buy the games for the soundtracks for example.

Also: you can now pre-order the next indieroyale bundle.

There are soundtracks for Darwinia & Defcon.

bought! The Defcon Sountrack is amazing.

Edit: I feel ripped off. The Defcon Soundtrack is not the 3-Track-Version that the artwork included shows. It's something else that I

Also the two tech demos that I haven't played around with yet.

I do like Aquaria. Makes me sad it's been so long since it came out.

I played the game every christmas since it was released on Steam. I adore it!

If I remember right, I bought it from their site. It got deleted at some point during a computer transfer :/

I do have a spare Steam key right now...

Haha I'll let you know. I'm going to search and see if I can retrieve it right now.

EDIT: I just found my registration code. Thank you Gmail :D

I'm quite interested in Aquaria, but it will take me a few more hours to persuade myself to get more games. I mean, my backlist is way too long as it is.

    Bought. Big surprise, right?

With all these new Bundles, shouldn't we just make one combined thread for both the Humble and Royale bundles?

(Also, the next Royale bundle is up for "blind pre-order," meaning you won't know what games are in them until it's out.)

If they add a beta for that prision management sim they're doing I will piss my little Jed pants.

I still have so many unplayed Bundle games that I'm no even gonna bother.

Yeah I feel like they've really been diluting their "brand" by not spacing these out more. Kind of interested in Darwinia but ehhhhhh

I was also interested in Crayon Physics until it dawned on me that I already own it and just haven't played it enough to remember

I find that I enjoy the games I've played from the bundles enough that I'm not feeling the brand dilution. It helps that my library of indie games is so small that the only games in the bundles I already own are the ones from previous bundles.

The games in there are all worth it but I just boght the Voxatron one for one of my steam friends last week. They aren't taking a break with those it seems. And yeah I just preordered the 3rd indie royale bundly because they had games in there that I didn't own yet.

I bought it for the voxel and city gen demo since I already own all these games 5+ over. The other two games I don't care about and already own.

Does this mean the city based game they were working on is dead then?

If you mean Subversion, that has been put on indefinite hold. In one interview, they said that while they thought the technologies they were using were really cool, the core gameplay never "clicked", and getting a core gameplay experience that was fun was the most important.

Yes I meant Subversion, had forgotten its name, such a shame to hear it was put on hold as it had sounded very interesting. At least they have done well enough that they could take the time to explore a new idea rather than churn out sequels. Thanks for the link RD.

On the plus side, it did spawn a new game they're working on. Some prison game.
  • edited November 2011
I liked the way it sounded. Where you enter buildings and robbed banks and etc. It sounded fun from that alone.

I own all the games and the OSTs just aren't enough to justify buying it in my opinion.

Wow, really? It looks like the Humble Bundle is trying to be in direct competition with the Indie Royale bundle. 15 minutes after the Indie Royale bundle released, a new game(Dungeons of Dredmor) was added to the current Humble Bundle. Not that I'm complaining, though.

EDIT: Oh, and from the top-right of the Humble Bundle page, it looks like the true fourth Indie Bundle is coming out next.
  • edited November 2011
Wow. I actually own most of the games in the new Indieroyale bundle. Crap. At least I got free music for preordering.
  • edited November 2011
I can't believe they've added the source code the the Introversion games, that is cool (I know they did it for some games in the first bundle).
  • edited November 2011
Okay, Dungeons of Dredmor has been added. It it flipping awesome. GET IT.

Whoa, really? That is actually a huge drawcard for me.

The information on obtaining the source code is on your Bundle page, between the games and the sales information. It involves signing up for an account with Introversion's forums/dev community thing, but you do have access.
