Secret Santa 2011: The Reckoning

UIt's that time of year again! No, not to stuff yourself with turkey and eggnog. It's time for the yearly Secret Santa!

I'll be taking over for Ribs on the organizational front.

So how does this work?

If you want to participate, please post your Steam username (and a link to your wishlist, if you have one). I will be accepting participants until December 15th.

On the 16th, you'll receive the Steam name of your target. You'll have until January 3rd to buy your recipient a gift, no less than 5$ and preferably no more than $20, so it's not too one sided. Feel free to bundle a few smaller games or DLC into a gift if you so choose.

In the end, everyone will get a gift from one of their friends here on Telltale! Every time this has been done, it's been both a great turnout and really good participation. Let's have some fun and get into the gift giving spirit!

    If I'm not mistaken, you received more than one PM regarding your posts. It would be nice to think twice, or ask someone, before randomly posting stuff.

    It's not about offending people... I dislike the idea of kids searching for Christmas related things, only to find disturbing posts.

    That being said, this has nothing to do with the thread. Stop deviating threads. Last warning.

    I would love to add 10 games to my wishlist, but the truth is not many games seem that entertaining.

    I should probably add TTG Games from Steam to my list... but I already have those. On multiple platforms! :D

    no actually i only got 1, and sorry, i usually do sarcasm and forget to post it along with my sentence, so carry on with the thread, if i get banned, hopefully just the threads, well banned suspension hopefully, i understand, but next time i use sarcasm i will post it along with my post sorry:(

    *Update* Now updated my wishlist with some cheaper alternatives so I don't ruin my secret santa. :)
    I have also arranged them in order, but of course only buy what is affordable.
    I wanted to put Hector: Badge of Carnage on there, but there is no button to put it on the wishlist.

    All targets have been issued. As mentioned, the person you're gifting to is not the person you are getting a gift from, so only I know who everyone's Santas are.

    How so? I didn't need to post my info on the list- I'm the last person.

    I picked names from a hat until everyone was claimed down a line. (The first name I picked was the person who was the target for the second, and so on until the last person, who became the target for the first)

    Oh wait, I misread. I thought you were telling someone that lovetodo would send the list of games to someone else. But it was the other way around.

    And I actually found a game I didn't know about on my target's wishlist. I'm SO getting that game! ...after I gift it to said target, of course ^^

    Is it wrong to wait until there's a Christmas Sale in the hopes that I may be able to get my target one of the more expensive items on their list at a price within the budget set? Just asking.
