I might get L.A Noire. Is the Complete Edition worth the extra cash?

Yes, I thought it was worth it. Terrible PC port but PS3 was fine.

But is the extra stuff on Collection worth the money or should I just get normal one.

If you haven't yet purchased it yet (and it looks like you haven't), you honestly have nothing to lose buying the CE.

To those who already bought the game, it isn't worth it.

You can make the judgement call for yourself. LA Noire is pretty cheap now, isn't it?

On its own its cheep but the CE is like £35. :p which is why I'm trying to see if its worth extra.

Yeah, you might as well go all out with the CE then.

I've heard that it doesn't transfer well to the PC but for someone without an alternative, is it worth is?

what's wrong with the PC port?

It really depends on your computer. Some of my friends have the game and while some of them claim it runs fine if the settings are adjusted, others say it's always in slow motion and they can't fix it.

The game caps at 30 fps because of the facial rendering though.

All the additional content is mixed into the game playthrough...so basically, you're paying for a longer game. I bought it all as DLC(PS3) when it came out and I felt it was worth it.

I don't care what anyone says about this game. Bring on the sequels!

I'm playing it on the PC right now and I love it. You play the extra cases during the main game and they are at the same level of quality compared to the normal cases. You are basically paying for a gold edition or an extra addon here that is totally worth the money. Get it!

    Thanks for your replies, all.

What would you want in L.A. Noire 2? What would you want to see?

    Less linear story line
    More gunplay
    More suspects
Harder difficulty. It ain't easy trying to solve a murder.
More murders than just one. How about two, or five, or how about a whole group?

I haven't completed the Homicide cases yet but all seems to point towards a serial killer in those cases.
And since I haven't finished it yet I'm not sure I need a second L.A. Noire.

What I really want: more free roaming between cases, I don't really need a partner. Better female faces. The male ones are okay but some of the female ones are horrible.

Female actresses seemed sexier back in the 1940s. You can blame modern day.
