Da New Guys - Day of the Jackass (new old-school game)

[Full disclosure: I'm doing PR for this game. Sorta like I used to do for Telltale. :p]

Last week Wadjet Eye Games announced Da New Guys: Day of the Jackass, coming out on Feb. 29. The game has a classic LucasArts vibe and I think Telltale fans will dig it. The storyline involves professional wrestlers, but that's not really what it's about... it's to wrestling what Full Throttle is to motorcycle gangs. It has funny writing, weird characters, and lots and lots of inventory puzzles. :D

There's a demo here.

I hope some of you will check it out, and post your impressions! People are always asking for Telltale to go more old school so I'm really curious to hear what Telltale fans think of something *this* old school...

I played the original Da New Guys and actually quite enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

I am trying very hard not to buy this!
(Its not that I don't want to, its that as far as adventure games go, I NEVER finish them. Heck I still haven't completed Sam and Max Season 2! XD)

    EDIT:
(Hmm... maybe I should make my own adventure game. One that I'd actually be able to complete! XD)

Yes, and a few other indies. I'm a free agent. :) (When I'm not feverishly working on my novel, of course!)

That should be an adventure game in its own right: "PR For Hire!"

Looks interesting, but I don't know if I'm going to bite yet. I'll wait 'til it comes out, and see how well it's received.

I played the demo last week (and was quite surprised to see Emily's name in the credits) and it's quite funny and very much in the point-and click style that I like.
    A definite buy for me.
