Here comes the Crimson Chin!

To be honest it doesn't look that great and with Dark Knight Returns coming after this its hard to get existed for Superman vs the Elite.

    On a serious note, this looks partially based on "Kingdome Come".

    The animated films are in a different universe from the Live Action ones and have a completely different style to them, and as such deserve to be judged on their own merits.

    This looks... weird. I can see how the other ani-films would work, but I don't see how this would feel right. The main bad guy being Irish (not British, no matter what his shirt looks like!) just seems off when compared to a cast of Americans, and the plot, from what I can tell through the trailer, is basically 'Superman gets replaced by douchebags who are actually bad guys', a tale that's only been told a thousand times before.

    Also, the title sounds silly. Minor detail, but it's true, dammit!

    I'm sure it'll be OK, but the trailer does not inspire me with confidence.
