The Lucasarts/Telltale/video games bedroom!

edited April 2013 in General Chat
I'm currently practising painting on walls to get better at drawing on a larger scale and mixing paints.

So I've made a quick start by drawing out the Day of the Tentacle cover on the wall. Will start painting soon. Updates to come.

Any suggestions for what video game art might look good on a bedroom wall.

I thinking of drawing and painting these up later.

-Old school jrpg graphics Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy 4 & 6
    -Monkey Island games
    -Grim Fandango
-Sam and Max (not sure which game, maybe a mix of Sam and Max's history :D)
    -Hotel Dusk

Ooh, that looks like it'll be good. Can't wait to see some more in-progress shots.

    Thanks :)

Just started painting, coming along well. I often struggle with the painting side. Will post a updated photo later.

I hope you're in a place where you're allowed to paint on the walls! ;)

I looked through a few of the adventure games I remember, only to find that their box art didn't look like it would translate well to a wall. Most of them are one large image of something. So I think DOTT is probably the best place to start. Get that done, then decide what would look good next to that!

It looks awesome. Are you going to do more?

It's funny that you used my whacked-together version of the cover and not the original ;)

I don't think I've ever even seen the one DAISHI posted. The other one is very iconic though.
  • I never like the cover-art of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge.
