Will everyone be killable?

I've been watching all the Q&A and the Playing Dead but I haven't heard how much you can really shape this world. For example, can you simply turn around and put a bullet in Clementine?

    All choices that you can make were specially designed to match things that Lee's base character would consider. Killing Clementine wouldn't even be in his thoughts.

    You can mainly shape your small corner of the world through how characters react to and treat you. The same major events will happen regardless of what you do; your playstyle just determines the characters' opinions of you.
