I am developing a game at the moment but I have no idea how to do it lol!

I need to know what sort of software to use to atleast get a basic idea of the game?

All help appreciated :D

    - What type of game are you making?
    - What tools are you trying to use?
    - What sort of experience do you already have?

    If you're making an adventure game then all of the information you need has already been covered in this thread.

    General Game Making engines to consider:

    - Game Maker
    - Construct 2
    - Unity
