so i just purchased the game and i don't like how it only gives me 10 seconds to decide what action to pick, i need more time to think about what im going to pick how do i turn the timer off.

    You can't - get used to it. I agree there's some parts that don't make sense to have a timer on. Those parts are few compared to the most choices where you'd only have a few seconds to react in reality. This isn't Mass Effect, where a conversation suddenly freezes time and the world around.
    The whole timer is a core part of the game to make the entire experience feel urgent. That's telltale's design choice and it's constant throughout say for a few moments. As said you're going to have to get used to it but moreso, try to enjoy it.

    Lol, if you did your game research you would have known one of the BIG thing about this game was the Decision making where you have limited time.

    Next time do some research? or watch a video or 2

    u get use to it dont let it ruin the game for you.. Its such a good story you really get into whats going on.. stick with it trust me..

    I wish I had a option like at main screen fast normal or slow for Deion making time I totally understand the reason u only have meer second to make a choice in some scenarios but I am embarrassed to say this but.... Reading not a strong suit of mine.....( ouch my pride) but if I just had a setting it would be awesome again before ppl go off read my post I understand the timer and I think it adds to the excitement of the game just wish I had an option if I so diseried

    sorry i didn't wanna spoil the game by reading reviews and stuff, an option to give me a bit more time would be nice i cant read all that well so much so that i use a text to speech program to read everything for me
