Is it really a remix? It's really hard to tell.

EDIT: Do you mind if i'm gonna be just a little bit nitpicky about this? First off, what happened to the ending of Armed with Death? It's THERE, the Telltale Music Extractor (The newest version) extracts it with the full ending to it, the fade out just doesn't really close down such an epic song for me.

Second, i'm quite disappointed that you didn't add in the other two parts of "Gone" :( Truly, i loved that piece of music, it's my favorite, but it definitely felt incomplete without the more intense parts of the song.

Sorry if i sound like a dick here, i really do, but while this can be a placeholder for some people, i'd rather just wait for the OST, listen to the music from the game files or use my youtube playlist. Because i'm not sure if this is unfinished or it's intended to stay this way but this pack doesn't offer a whole lot, besides all the emotional themes (Which i give kudos to you for them and their nice quality)

But eh, i think the things i said is something from my view of doing things, so i may not understand the concept behind this.

I recall reading on here that Telltale has an OST in the works at the moment, so you're probably right.

Ye, id say this topic be deleted. You dont own the soundtrack and you are now sharing it without their permission. Might as well put a torrent here for whole S1 if you are gonna share this.

You should also post this on the Steam forums in case it is deleted.

You still give no money to Telltale for making the soundtrack. You still "steal" from them. Do you want to do that? IF they dont get money for their work they lose money and eventually will have to shut down.

Now, that probably wont happen just cause you get the soundtrack. But you have not payed for it. Does not really matter if it's on youtube or not cause now THAT guy who uploaded it is breaking the rules. He has no right to do that cause the soundtrack is not HIS.

Again, you might as well put up a download link for the whole game. Give them no money for that either!

No need to get all rustled. If Telltale cares so much about making money off of the soundtrack, they will simply edit the OP. This thread has been open for days, and no action has been taken.

Maybe they are busy? It's still illegal and right now you are "keeping it illegal until the cops show up" kinda mindset.

Be nice to them, remove it, buy it if you want it, or listen to youtube cause someone else has fucked up.

Isn't it odd that mods and admins would be absent for one entire day, that, or just not pay attention to a thread like this? Come on guys, don't be hasty. Mods and Admins are chosen specifically, and one thing they need to always do, is at least one of them should show up each day. But if it's bugging you, just report it and we'll see how things go.

And you know, if i fucked up, why would Telltale, or even the forum let me keep the music on for 7 months straight without any complains about it?

Just give it time dude, you don't know anything for certain.

For one thing, their highest priority is probably not to stop you while they are working on the game. Sooner or later if it's up on youtube like that it's gonna be put down if you can't show you have permission from Telltale to have it up on youtube.

Do the OP have the permission to share the music? I dont think he has. Now a friend of mine downloaded this and said the music was horrible quality and that might be the reason but i dont know, and yes this will be reported. Sharing this music would be the same as sharing the actual game and hopefully many here would not wanna get this good game for free if they could. They deserve the money. This i piracy, and i'm sure it's not allowed on this forum. Mostly from THEIR OWN products.

I again would report it if i only knew how.

On each post, there's this red triangle to the left, that's the report button.

But yeah, i guess you have a point there.

I'm not a member of Telltale staff, so don't take this as an official statement, but I think linking to unofficial versions of the soundtrack should be OK, as long as the soundtrack isn't officially available from Telltale.

So, I'm keeping this topic up provisionally (and merging it with another discussion about the soundtrack), until if or when the soundtrack is officially released.

So if i could get hands on S02E01 before it gets officially released i can share it here also? Does not matter if it's a game, a soundtrack. The same rules still apply.

Now i know you were talking about an unofficial version of the soundtrack, but still.

can't imagine they would just let someone share it on the internet, on the other hand they ain't EA so...

If i had theoretically downloaded the soundtrack, I would still buy it once it comes out, especially if it's on a cd, because this game is so amazing and it only costed me 15 bucks, because there were so many sales for it, which I think is sad. Such a masterpiece costs 15-20 bucks, while the latest activision games cost 50-70 bucks, though they don't put a fifth of the effort you put in your games in theirs.
I'll be damned if I don't buy the soundtrack once it's officialy out, because you guys deserve it, and I would love to just... have it.

No, that's a completely different manner since you're talking about something that Telltale is officially planning on selling. As of right now, it hasn't been decided about whether Telltale will sell the soundtrack.

Telltale is a very open company with their fans, and the Telltale staff and we mods are pretty lenient with fan productions. Telltale has a pretty open policy on YouTube Let's Plays and Walkthroughs for example. This is a similar case since it doesn't interfere with anything Telltale has for sale, and is just the fans showing their appreciation for Telltale's work.

No need to say "people" when it's only me talking "for it's cause".
