how do you tell Hershel the truth?

was just wondering what options i have to use on hershel to make him not call me a lier and to tell him im a escaped prisoner

    From what I have seen on the forums, I don't believe there is a way. Hershel will tell you about lying no matter what you do.

    He didn't call me a liar ... he just told me that it's better not to lie because you need the trust of the people around you. I see this as some kind of advice of "the old wise man". Maybe he's just very careful and doesn't trust anybody new...
